Mobile operator in Turkmenistan introduces virtual number service

During the international exhibition "Turkmentel-2023",the cellular communication company TM-CELL "Altyn Asyr" presented a new service to its subscribers - virtual numbers - the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan reports.
A virtual number is a phone number that works over the Internet. To use the service, you will need a device with Internet access and appropriate software for a smartphone, laptop, tablet, PC, etc.
The virtual number operates on voice transmission over the Internet. The operating principle is based on cloud technology: when someone calls a virtual number, the call is first routed to the cloud telephony server. The server then redirects the call to the phone or other device associated with the virtual number. If your phone or device is unreachable, the call may be routed to voicemail or another phone number.
A virtual number is a modern alternative to SIM cards. If you want to separate personal and work calls, you can buy a new SIM card or simply connect a virtual number.
A virtual number helps you save money. For example, a company can use any number from virtually any location—eliminating the hassle of costly remote calls.
