President of Turkmenistan takes part in the 16th ECO meeting in Tashkent


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Tashkent on a working visit to participate in the 16th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
Before the meeting, the Head of Turkmenistan met with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. "The sides discussed the development of mutually beneficial Turkmen-Uzbek partnership in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The heads of neighboring states paid special attention to the expansion of economic cooperation in the space of the Economic Cooperation Organization," TDH reports.
During the meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Serdar Berdimuhamedov will voice Turkmenistan's vision of developing mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres in the ECO space.
Turkmenistan has been a member of this Organization since 1992, chaired it in 2021 and hosted the 15th ECO Summit.
