A training dedicated to the fifth generation of mobile communications is being held in the Turkmen capital

As part of the XVI International Exhibition and Scientific Conference of Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technologies and Broadcasting Equipment “Turkmentel-2023”, which opened today in Ashgabat, a two-day training “Launch of next generation mobile communication networks (IMT-2020/5G)” is being held.
The training, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), is attended by representatives from the public and private sectors, academia, telecom operators and other stakeholders.
The main topic of discussion was the fifth generation communication network 5G, which can be considered one of the main components of digital transformation and the digital economy.
Participants emphasized the significant superiority of 5G technology over other communication generations. With its speed, low latency and expanded capacity, 5G has enormous potential to improve various industries.
Improved 5G coverage will also be a big benefit for smart city applications. Cities can use a wide range of connected devices, from smart street lights to traffic cameras and air quality sensors. All these devices can be connected into a single network, allowing you to effectively exchange data and improve the decision-making process.
Overall, 5G represents a monumental shift in the world of telecommunications, with fast, reliable and interconnected networks that will drive innovation and economic growth across multiple sectors.
The training will end tomorrow.
