The Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulieva opened a series of musical dedications to the Day of the Constitution and Flag of Turkmenistan with a concert by the department of wind and percussion instruments. The performance was organized under the guidance of a teacher and conductor, Honored Worker of Education, Associate Professor Berdyniyaz Rejepmedov and Honored Artist Muhammetchary Annamuradov. The program included pieces that were very different in content and musical style. These include the compositions of Turkmen composers Dangatar Ovezov, Nura Halmammedov, Chary Nurymov, Rejep Allayarov, Ashir Abdullaev, as well as foreign luminaries. Spectators’ seats in the concert hall of the TNC were filled to capacity: people, young and mature, colleagues from the creative field, musicians of military bands, famous and novice artists and musicians came to listen to the sacred music of different times and peoples. With great musical charm and artistic temperament, an expressive interpretation of world opera classics and compositions by Turkmen composers, vocal numbers were accompanied by a brass band by masters of the modern singing school of Turkmenistan Arzigul Klycheva, Begench Gaipov, senior lecturer of the department of TNC on “Musical pedagogy” Rovshen Bayramov. A worthy place in the concert was allotted to chamber music of the 18th century - the era of classicism. Students of elementary courses performed with endearing artistic charm, beautiful sound and technical freedom. Hidir Esenov (clarinet) performed the virtuoso “Competitive Solo” by the Frenchman Andre Message, Murad Annamuradov (bassoon) performed the third part of the Concerto in E Minor by the immortal Italian Antonio Vivaldi, and the trio of flute players - Ainur Bataeva, Ayperi Garaulova and Aigul Suwhanova shone with “Allegro” of the Englishman James Hook. Considerable merit in creating a complete musical image of the performed works belongs to accompanists Natella Bagirova and Evgeny Selyutin. The conservatory’s brass band led by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Muhammetchary Annamuradov performed a wonderful interpretation of the famous works. Georgiy Sviridov’s “Snowstorm” and Arno Babajanyan’s Nocturne sounded freshly performed by the orchestra. Senior students of the department of wind and percussion instruments spoke at the concert conductor, these are the pupils of the senior teacher Nadezhda Lishankova - Dayanch Vepaev, Sapa Sapaev, Ilgiz Galimov and Alisher Yakubov. Particularly distinguished were the new ensemble consisting of Baba Muhammedov (tenor saxophone), Ilgiz Galimov (alto saxafon), Kakageldy Gurbanmuradov (percussion instruments) and accompanist Natella Bagirova (piano), who incendiaryly performed George Gershwin's jazz compositions “Clap in tact”, Joseph Garland's “In the mood” and William Donaldson's “Ragtime.” The brass band accompanied by the sincere, well-remembered songs of “Aşgabat” by Ashir Abdullaev, “Yurdym meniň bitarap” by Jeren Kurbanklycheva, “Türkmenistan-ata Watan” by Rejep Allayarov, “Garaşsyz döwran” by Nury Muhatov, as well as “Gyz” by Bayramdurdy Khudaynazarov, “Leýla” by Dangatar Ovezov, and “Kerеmli söz” by Mered Annamuradov. Under the guidance of students - young conductors, the orchestra performed accompaniment in a soft classical manner, not allowing to force the sound so as not to drown out the voices of the soloists. From number to number, the emotional intensity of the perception of the public grew. In general, the concert demonstrated the serious work of the pedagogical staff of the conservatory in the professional training of creative youth and the great potential of students of the country's higher music school.
