Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita Odobescu and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held political and diplomatic consultations on Monday, which took place at the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Bucharest, Romania, on November 6.

During the meeting, the two high-ranking officials discussed the state and prospects of the bilateral dialogue, as well as current topics on the regional and international agenda.

After the meeting, Minister Luminita Odobescu said that Azerbaijan is the main economic partner of Romania in the South Caucasus, emphasizing the importance of discussions on the early commissioning of the international Black Sea-Caspian transport route, Veridica reports.
