The national team of Turkmenistan is top-place team at the Combat Ju-Jutsu Open Asia Championship

The III Combat Ju-Jutsu Open Asia Championship was held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan on April 6-8, where Turkmen athletes won 7 gold medals. Serdar Hojamuhammedov (92 kg), Charymurad Annakurbanov (92+ kg), Djovlanbek Madaminov (84 kg), Ruslan Rozmetov (77 kg) and Ruslan Yunusov (65 kg) were among them. The national team of Turkmenistan took first place in the team event. ORIENT obtained an interview with one of the winners of the championship – Serdar Hojamuhammedov, who demonstrated the most spectacular battles at the Championship. Each of the three fights the fighter from Turkmenistan finished in less than a minute by knockout, leaving no chance for his opponents from Kazakhstan.Ayjahan ATABALLIYEVA
“Victory gives me the most vivid and unforgettable moments in my life. It inspires me to new achievements,” the sportsman says.
This is the first competition of Serdar after the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, where he won a silver medal in combat sambo.
In a few days, the team of 10 Turkmen sportsmen will go to training camps in Moscow, where they will be intensively preparing for the upcoming Asian Combat Sambo Championship that will be held in Mongolia. The coach is Alan Niyazmengliyev, Honored Coach of Turkmenistan, President of the Federation of Martial Arts of Turkmenistan, and Asian champion in Combat Sambo.
