At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on factors affecting the level of the Caspian Sea, problems caused by sea level changes, and ways to overcome the situation.

The meeting participants agreed to prepare a Work Plan in the field of monitoring and assessment of hydrometeorological and other elements and processes affecting the level of the Caspian Sea, joint development of climate and sea level scenarios, as well as the implementation of adaptation measures for the entire basin.
