The head of Turkmenistan approved the proposal to celebrate Construction Industry Workers Day on November 3


During the laying of the foundation for a combined power plant with a capacity of 1,574 megawatts in the Balkan region, the ceremony of which took place with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov asked the head of state to celebrate the Day of Workers of the Construction and Industrial Complex of Turkmenistan on November 3 every year.
This proposal was supported by the President of Turkmenistan, who also congratulated workers of the construction and industrial complex on this holiday, as reported in the evening news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
On Friday, November 3, Serdar Berdimuhamedov launched the construction of a new energy facility in the Primorsky region, near the city of Turkmenbashi. The power plant, which will install 4 gas and 2 steam turbines from General Electric, along with a reliable power supply to the western region of the country, will help increase the volume of electricity supplies to neighboring countries and open new export routes, including through the Caspian Sea.
