Ashgabat and Tashkent signed a Roadmap for cooperation


The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan signed a program of joint activities - the "Roadmap" - for the further development of cooperation between the two countries for 2023-2024.
Rashid Meredov and Bakhtiyor Saidov signed the document on Wednesday, November 1, on the sidelines of the 16th meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Central Asia-Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum.
The roadmap was developed in order to specify the terms of practical implementation of agreements and agreements reached during high-level visits between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The document provides for key areas of joint activity in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres and cooperation in the field of energy, transport and logistics, as well as in the water sector and environmental protection.
