Turkmenistan and China intensify trade and economic cooperation
Deputy Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan Kerimberdi Kurbanov paid a working visit to China to participate in the 8th meeting of the Subcommittee on Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation Committee.
During a meeting at the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Kerimberdi Kurbanov discussed with his Chinese counterpart the prospects for the sustainable development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, the possibility of stimulating investment, as well as expanding the areas of interaction between Turkmenistan and China. The parties also reviewed preparations for the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation Committee, which will be held in November in Ashgabat.
Following the meeting, a corresponding Protocol was signed.
