Musical salute - to the anniversary of Victory
The concert of the State Symphony Orchestra and the State Chorus of Turkmenistan became a solemn musical salute among the festive actions which were held in Ashgabat on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Organised by the embassy of the Russian Federation with assistance of the Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo and Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan this gift is really an invaluable action of good and gratitude to soldiers, veterans and workers of the home front.
The music-drama theatre named after Mahtumkuli where the concert took place, is always glad to the public, but today's action especial, after all in the hall, especially important visitors - the veterans who have passed the Great Patriotic War, live witnesses and participants of bloody fights, and all the program of the evening is devoted to them namely.
At the threshold visitors were welcomed by melodies of military times as a surprise from young musicians, schoolchildren of a special school. In the theatre’s foyer a small exposition «All for the front» was organized. On wooden carts - grain and warm things which went to the front and also family values - national ornaments which inhabitants of Turkmenistan endowed for the future Victory.
The cosy hall of the music-drama theatre is overflowed, spectators, paying a memory tribute to the Soviet soldiers, they were ready to listen to music standing. Among them elegant mums and fathers with children in the military form, the main ornament of whom, “St. George Ribbon”- the Victory symbol. A sea of flowers and in spring fragrant May so freedom which was won 75-years ago by the Soviet soldiers from fascist aggressors, smells.
- The victory is a common deed of our people, part of our general identity, - the adviser-envoy of the Russian embassy in Turkmenistan Konstantin Shlykov addressed in a salutatory word. - the Turkmen people, as well as other people of the Soviet Union, faced heavy victim at the front and on the way to the Victory. We are obliged to hold in remembrance it. And that here in Turkmenistan all these days they honour veterans, that the magnificent parade yesterday took place, all it testifies to how carefully here they concern the historical truth. Our people shoulder to shoulder battled against the satanic evil and together won. Today Russia and Turkmenistan successfully co-operate for the sake of prosperity and peace in the globe. Including on the United Nations Organization platform creation of which 75 years ago, became one of the main consolidated responses of the world community to the raged Second World War.
The composition «Sacred war» opened the concert program. Touching music forced visitors of the evening to rise and listen standing invocatory poems of Vasily Lebedev-Kumach, the melody to which was written by Alexander Aleksandrov: «Rise the country huge, rise to mortal fight!». This patriotic song of the period of the Second World War for the first time was performed on June 21, 1941 at the Belarus station, in memory of this event in the station building a memorial board was established.
All songs of times of the Great Patriotic War aree unusually pathetic, in them feelings and the destinies of the people which have become legends: «Dark night», «Eh, roads», «Dark blue kerchief» … Famous song "Cranes" has been performed by honoured artist of Turkmenistan Ismail Jumayev an «Encore!».
Tenor Nury Nuryev also enslaved the spectators with the legendary “Smuglyanka“from the film «Only Old Men Are Going into Battle». The text of the famous song echoed all the auditorium and the squall of the applause which heaped upon actors still for a long time did not abate. Visitors of the musical event thanked the symphonic orchestra, maestro Rasul Klychev, chorus and each soloist for shrill, pressing emotions.
In conclusion of the concert the main song of this holiday - "Victory Day" was performed. It is necessary to mention a touching composition of Aleksandra Pakhmutova « Bow to those great years ». The musicale became an original bow to the memory of all who is not present today among the live. Successors of the Victory, keeping traditions, honour heroes-front-line soldiers, whose great feat is immortal.
