Turkmenistan and South Africa agreed to intensify bilateral relations


A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the political adviser of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Kazakhstan, Pis Bardolph Kennedy.
The guest was received on Wednesday by Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Hadjiev. The diplomats discussed the current state of cooperation between Turkmenistan and South Africa, as well as prospects for further cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The parties agreed to intensify bilateral relations, hold inter-ministerial consultations and improve the legal framework of the two countries, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
The active interaction of the two countries within the framework of international organizations, including the UN, was also noted, the ministry added.
