The President of Turkmenistan and the head of the Halk Maslahaty expressed condolences to the President of Kazakhstan


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent deep condolences to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in connection with the numerous human casualties and injuries as a result of the mine accident in the Karaganda region.
On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, the head of state conveyed words of empathy and support at this difficult moment to the relatives and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured, TDH reports.
The national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also sent condolences to the President of Kazakhstan.
"I received with deep sorrow the news of the fire at the Kostenko mine in the Karaganda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which caused numerous human casualties and injuries," the state news agency quotes the message.
The national leader of the Turkmen people conveyed words of empathy and support at this difficult moment to the relatives and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
On October 29, 2023, Kazakhstan is holding a day of national mourning in connection with the death of people as a result of a mine explosion in Karaganda.
As a sign of grief on the day of national mourning, flags are lowered on the buildings of state bodies and local self-government bodies, foreign diplomatic institutions.
On the morning of October 28, an explosion occurred at the Kostenko mine in the Karaganda region. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan on Sunday morning, the death toll at the mine rose to 36 people. The search for 10 miners continues.
