Chinese five-star hotel feeds stray cats free of charge


A five-star hotel in southern China's Guangdong province has become an example of caring for stray cats by providing them with free food and a secluded place to rest.
Although the name of the hotel is unknown, it has attracted the attention and admiration of Chinese Internet users, the South China Morning Post reports.
A viral video posted on Chinese social media shows hotel staff have set up a special shelter for cats with food, water and soft bedding near the main entrance.
In the video, the cat eats food provided by the hotel staff. The hotel staff reported that they now have guests - two ginger cats, whom they have been taking care of for several years.
Chinese Internet users expressed admiration and praise for the hotel and its staff for caring for stray cats.
In addition, the hotel offers its guests the opportunity to accommodate pets weighing up to 10 kg, and pets are free of charge.
