The Turkmenistan national football team completed training camps in the UAE. The training camp took place from October 8 to October 18.
On the final day, Mergen Orazov’s team played a friendly match against the local club Ajman, which plays in the first division of the UAE championship. The meeting ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the opponent. The only goal for the Turkmen team was scored by Arslan Amanov.
Previously, the national team played two friendly matches, beating Dubai United, a team from the first division of the UAE Championship, with a score of 3:1 and losing to the current champion of the Emirati League, Shabab Al Ahli, 4:1.
Let us remind you that according to the results of the draw for the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament, which took place in July, the Turkmenistan national team found itself in group “E”, where it will play with the teams of Iran, Uzbekistan and Hong Kong.
