The company said it will speed up the construction of Line D of the China-Central Asia gas pipeline. With a design gas transportation capacity of 30 billion cubic meters per year, line D will pass through the territory of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. The existing lines A, B and C allow the passage of 55 billion cubic meters of blue fuel per year.

According to CNPC, in 2022, 42 billion cubic meters of natural gas were supplied via the China-CA gas pipeline, the daily throughput capacity is 100 million cubic meters. From its launch in 2009 until the end of 2022, 423 billion cubic meters of gas passed through the pipeline. The resource base of the gas pipeline is the fields in Turkmenistan.
