The Turkmen Embassy in Moscow gave a solemn reception
A solemn reception in honor of the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence was held in Moscow by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation.
Deputies of the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, senior officials of the Russian Foreign Ministry, foreign diplomats accredited in Moscow, representatives of business circles of the two countries, heads of public organizations, scientists and cultural figures, journalists, representatives of Turkmen diasporas in the regions of the Russian Federation gathered to congratulate the hosts of the holiday on a significant date this evening.
Addressing the audience, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the Russian Federation Batyr Niyazliev noted that friendly and good-neighborly relations between the Turkmen and Russian peoples find their logical development in the recent history of the two countries. The past years of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia have been marked by a high level of interstate dialogue and are invariably characterized by mutual support and trust in the international arena. Speaking about the development of bilateral ties, the Ambassador noted that the peoples of Turkmenistan and Russia are bound by centuries-old historical ties, traditions of equal, good-neighborly relations, sincere sympathy for each other at the human level, according to the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Moscow.
The participants of the celebration were heartily congratulated on the holiday by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin. The Russian diplomat noted the undoubted merits of Turkmenistan and its leader, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in initiating a number of creative international processes aimed at strengthening political and economic stability in the Central Asian region.
Congratulations and best wishes were conveyed to the President and the people of Turkmenistan by the heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Moscow, representatives of the Russian scientific and cultural intelligentsia. By good tradition, all the guests were able to enjoy the best dishes of authentic Turkmen cuisine, national songs and melodies.
