Turkmen-Austrian cultural ties were discussed in Ashgabat with the Vienna delegation


Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with a delegation of the Vienna City Hall headed by a representative of the Mayor of Vienna, member of the Vienna City Council and the Vienna Provincial Parliament Omar Al-Ravi in the building of the country's foreign Ministry in Ashgabat. The group also includes the head of the Austrian-Turkmen Society, Neda Berger, who also became a participant in the negotiations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The Turkmen diplomat congratulated the guests who are on a visit to Ashgabat these days on the successful holding of the fifth Vienna Ball in Arkadag on October 11. Today, cultural celebrations continue in the capital's Palace of Mukam with a concert of the Turkmen-Austrian Symphony Orchestra "Galkynysh", it was said during the conversation.
The topic of further expansion of cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Austria became one of the main topics during the meeting. The relay of creative and cultural events passes to Vienna, where a concert of masters of culture and arts of Turkmenistan will take place in mid-October, the interlocutors noted.
The participants also considered the interaction of the countries in the trade and economic sphere, defining the bilateral partnership as fruitful. The parties called the cooperation of the business circles of the two states particularly successful.
