Turkmenistan national soccer team went to the training camp in the UAE
The national soccer team of Turkmenistan has left for a training camp in Dubai (UAE).
According to the press service of the Turkmen national team, the coaching staff headed by Mergen Orazov invited 24 players to the training camp. Below we publish the full list of players, noting that Ahal defender Hakmuhammed Byashimov received an invitation to the main team for the first time.
Goalkeepers: Rasul Chariev (FC Arkadag), Batyr Babaev (Altyn Asyr), Dovletiyar Berdyev (Ahal).
Defenders: Ata Geldiev, Hakmuhammed Byashimov, Shohrat Soyunov (all - "Ahal"), Guichmurad Annakuliev, Ihlas Toijanov, Abdy Byashimov, Ibraim Mammedov (all - FC "Arkadag").
Midfielders: Ilya Tamurkin, Arzuv Sapargulyev, Velmurad Ballakov, Begli Bayov, Arslanmurad Amanov (all - FC "Arkadag"), Dovran Hojamammedov ("Ahal"), Ruslan Mingazov ("Kitchee", Hong Kong), Teymur Chariev ("Abdysh-Ata", Kyrgyzstan).

As part of the training camp, the Turkmen national soccer team will play two matches against clubs from the UAE championship. The training camp will continue until October 18.
Recall that according to the results of the draw for the second round of the World Cup-2026 qualifying tournament, which took place in July, the national team of Turkmenistan was in Group "E", where it will play with the teams of Iran, Uzbekistan, as well as the winner of the first qualifying round pair Hong Kong - Bhutan.
On November 16, Turkmenistan will start its journey in the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a home match against Uzbekistan.
