New bridges will be built on the Ashgabat-Geokdepe highway
Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, submitted to the President of Turkmenistan a proposal for the construction of modern bridges across the railway and a mudflow channel on the highway connecting the Turkmen capital with the city of Geoktepe, which is the administrative center of the region of the same name.
These bridges, meeting the most stringent requirements of international standards, will bring the safety and uninterrupted flow of cargo and passengers along this highway, which is an important link in the extensive road network of Turkmenistan, to a new level.
The head of state, having approved the proposal, instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure high quality of road bridges.
