The representative of Turkmenistan took part in the meeting of the OTS Council of Elders in Samarkand
The 14th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in the Uzbek city of Samarkand. Turkmenistan was represented at the forum by Rejep Bazarov.
The delegates of the meeting were also representatives of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey. The participants considered topical issues related to the activities of the Council of Elders and the OTS, and discussed the main directions of further joint work and coordination of actions of the participating countries of the Organization.
The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the recommendations adopted at last year's meeting of the OTS Council of Elders in Bishkek and adopted a number of joint decisions on further cooperation.
