Representatives of Turkmenistan participate in the World Investment Forum in Abu Dhabi

Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan are taking part in the 8th World Investment Forum and International Exhibition, which takes place in Abu Dhabi from October 16 to 20.
The event, organized under the auspices of UNCTAD, brought together high-ranking participants - heads of state, ministers, business leaders, financial experts, investors and other key figures in the global capital market. It is designed to promote dialogue and develop measures to solve current and future investment problems faced by developing countries in the context of today's global crisis.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in a statement called on forum participants to implement the Sustainable Development Goals stimulus package and work towards $500 billion in annual investment for developing countries.
He also called on governments to set a fair price on carbon emissions and on companies to implement credible net-zero plans, as recommended by the High‑Level Expert Group on the Net Zero Emissions Commitments of Non‑State Entities.
Turkmenistan presents a pavilion of its investment opportunities at the exhibition, inviting potential partners to participate in promising projects.
