Turkmen-Romanian talks held in Bucharest


On October 17, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Romania Annamammet Annayev met with the co-chairman of the Romanian part of the interparliamentary Turkmen-Romanian friendship group Ankuetil Kolchar at the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Bucharest. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for further cooperation. Political and diplomatic, trade and economic, fuel and energy, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres were identified as priority areas of cooperation. Positive interaction at the inter-parliamentary level was noted.
In order to strengthen ties through cultural and humanitarian exchanges, the parties agreed to hold joint events on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy.
