The working visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan to China has begun
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Beijing to participate in the III High-Level Forum “One Belt, One Road”.
During the visit, the head of the Khalk Maslahaty will also hold negotiations with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the TDH news agency reports.
Turkmen-Chinese interaction is built in full accordance with the Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Strategic Partnership Relations signed by the two countries. Following the state visit of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to China and his negotiations with Chinese President Xi Jinping in January of this year, it was announced that the level of relations between the two countries would be upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership, the report notes.
“One Belt, One Road” is an international initiative of China to improve existing and create new trade and transport corridors connecting more than 60 countries of Central Asia, Europe and Africa, which is designed to promote the development of trade relations between them and China.
