The Turkmenistan national football team continues training camps in Dubai (UAE), which started on October 8 and will continue until October 18, FFT reports.
In preparation for the qualifying round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Turkmenistan national team has already played a friendly match against Dubai United. The meeting, held on October 10, ended with the victory of the Turkmen team with a score of 3:1.
After the victory over Dubai United, the Turkmenistan national team continues daily training. Training includes physical and tactical training.
On October 15, Mergen Orazov’s team will play another friendly match. The meeting with Shabab Al Ahly Football Club will take place at Al Rashid Stadium in Dubai. The match starts at 18:05 Ashgabat time.
Let us recall that according to the results of the draw for the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament, which took place in July, the Turkmenistan national team found itself in group “E”, where it will play with the teams of Iran, Uzbekistan, as well as the winner of the first qualifying round pair Hong Kong - Bhutan.
On November 16, the Turkmenistan national team will begin its journey in the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament with a home match against the Uzbekistan team.
