The next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS will be held on October 8, 2024 in Moscow. This was announced by CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev at an expanded format meeting at the Ala-Archa state residence in Bishkek.

According to him, at the meeting in a narrow format, the agenda and rules of the meetings were also approved. The presidents exchanged views on issues of interaction within the CIS.

The heads of delegations unanimously decided on the chairmanship of the CIS, which will go to Russia in 2024, and co-chairmanship will be carried out by Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
