The head of the state concern "Turkmenneft" held a working meeting in Bucharest


The next meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian Working Commission on cooperation in the energy sector was held in Bucharest on Tuesday. The Turkmen side at the meeting in the Ministry of Energy of Romania was headed by the chairman of the state concern "Turkmenneft" Guvanch Agajanov.
As noted, one of the key aspects of Turkmenistan's energy strategy is the further modernization and technical equipment of oil and gas and petrochemical industry enterprises, the implementation of projects for the construction of modern gas processing complexes, including the production of gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, polyethylene, polypropylene and other gas chemical products. This is stated in the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In this context, Turkmenistan is interested in attracting advanced resource-saving technologies, innovative scientific and technical developments to the industry.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed that consolidated the agreements and intentions reached.
