Turkmenistan has sent humanitarian aid to victims of the earthquake in Afghanistan


The President of Turkmenistan signed an order on sending humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Textile Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country will donate medicines and medical supplies, food and textile products to the Afghan side as humanitarian aid.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ordered to organize the dispatch and transfer of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan in October.
As noted in the news release of the Turkmen State Television, this friendly gesture was supported by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Foundation for Providing assistance to children in need of guardianship, and is aimed at humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people, primarily the children of Afghanistan, in connection with the earthquake that occurred on October 7 in the Afghan province of Herat.
