Turkmenistan strengthens cooperation between sanitary and phytosanitary services of Central Asia

Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the Border Management Assistance Program for Central Asia and Afghanistan (BOMCA) regional workshop on updating the Plant Quarantine Cooperation Agreement. This is reported on the official website of the Program.
The participants reviewed the road map of actions for the implementation of this Agreement. The document was concluded in 2000 between the governments of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The event was aimed at strengthening interdepartmental cooperation and information exchange between sanitary and phytosanitary departments of the regional countries.
