Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Putin on his birthday over the phone


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the State Information Agency TDH reports.
The Turkmen leader congratulated his Russian colleague on his birthday and wished him good health, happiness, prosperity and success in his highest government position. He also expressed his gratitude for the personal attention and support provided to the development of Turkmen-Russian relations, which are based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and good neighborliness.
“The Russian Federation is a strategic partner of Turkmenistan. Our relations are based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and good neighborliness,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov said. As noted during the conversation, today both countries successfully cooperate in a wide range of areas.
Bilateral trade and economic ties demonstrate good dynamics, effective contacts between departments have been established, and inter-parliamentary relations have intensified.
Cooperation in the cultural, scientific and educational fields is being successfully strengthened, which is an important factor in bringing the peoples of the two states closer together.
Thanking for the congratulations, Putin also addressed his best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, noting his great personal contribution to strengthening and expanding interstate dialogue.
