Mikail Jabbarov held a series of talks in the Turkmen government


Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov, who is on a visit to Ashgabat at the head of his country's delegation, held a series of talks in the government of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.
Thus, he met with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, discussing with him the prospects for expanding economic cooperation, including in the energy, transport, investment, trade, agricultural, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

It was highlighted at the meeting that the political will of the leaders of both countries, high-level visits, meetings and events play an important role in strengthening relations, and the expanding trade and economic ties of the two countries contribute to the development of the region.

At the meeting of Mikail Jabbarov with the head of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" Maksat Babayev, which was attended by representatives of SOCAR, an exchange of views took place on expanding cooperation in the field of energy, joint exploration and development of hydrocarbon resources, and the implementation of potential projects.

Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov also discussed the prospects for the development of relations between the two countries in the energy sector, the potential for the implementation of joint projects. At the meeting with the participation of SOCAR representatives, it was stressed that the documents signed between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in the field of energy are an important contribution to the expansion of cooperation.

Jabbarov discussed with Deputy Prime Minister, Co-Chairman of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission Batyr Atdayev the possibilities of increasing bilateral trade turnover and expanding ties between business circles, holding a regular meeting of the IPC.
