Turkmen Airlines is catching up


In January-September of this year, the growth rate for the performance of works and the provision of services of the Transport and Communication Agency (TCA) under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan as a whole amounted to 123.3%.
This was reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov by the General Director of the TCA Mammethan Chakyev during a government meeting on Thursday.
In particular, for all types of transport, the growth rate of passenger traffic was 105.2%, and freight traffic was even higher – 105.9%.
Frozen in the years of pandemic stagnation, "Turkmen Airlines" ("Turkmenhowaýollary") today are catching up with space speeds – the growth rate in the provision of services in this industry amounted to an unprecedented 226.2%.
The other agencies of the transport and communication complex have slightly lower indicators in this nomination, but equally commendable: for Turkmen motor transport workers ("Türkmenawtoulaglary") – 118.4%, for signalmen ("Türkmenaragatnaşyk") – 111.6%, for railway workers ("Türkmendemirýollary") – 108.4%, for maritime and river transport workers ("Türkmendeñizderýaýollary") - 107.1%.
