The President of Turkmenistan expressed condolences to Italy in connection with the tragic accident in Venice


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed condolences to Italian President Sergio Mattarella in connection with the car accident in Venice, which caused death of people.
In a telegram of condolences, the head of Turkmenistan, on behalf of the people and the government of the country, on his own behalf, conveyed words of deep empathy and support to the relatives and friends of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured, the evening broadcast of the national news service reported.
In Venice, at the railway tracks connecting the districts of Mestre and Marghera, a bus with tourists fell from an overpass and caught fire. As reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera on Tuesday evening, October 3, at least 21 people were killed in this traffic accident, including three children. 15 people were injured, four of them children, five wounded are in very dangerous condition.
In memory of the victims of the accident in Venice, mourning was declared.
