Ashgabat Stock Exchange and USAID provide free consultation to companies on issuing securities

The Ashgabat Stock Exchange (ASE), in partnership with the USAID Future Growth Initiative (FGI) Project in Turkmenistan, provides free consulting support to private companies interested in attracting additional funds for business development by issuing securities.
The goal of the project is to develop the stock market in Turkmenistan through the introduction of new financial instruments and increasing business awareness of alternative sources of financing their projects.
Supporting issuers to comply with regulatory requirements is a vital part of capital market development. Issuers of securities are one of the key players in the capital market, which allows investors to invest their savings in securities. When an issuer issues securities with proper compliance, investors find new investment opportunities and issuers find a new source of financing for their business.
As part of the project, companies wishing to attract additional financing by issuing securities will be supported by consultants at all stages of the process.
Issuers will be advised on the procedure for issuing securities, their type, timing of issue and pricing of securities, will provide advice and support to companies in understanding the legal and regulatory requirements for issuing securities and their listing on the AFS. Also, issuers wishing to be listed on the ASE will be trained to work in the securities market.
