Days of Culture of Turkmenistan will be held in the American city of Albuquerque.
The American city of Albuquerque will host Days of Culture of Turkmenistan. A creative festival with the participation of Turkmen figures of culture and art will be held in the United States of America on October 23-24.
Albuquerque is the capital of the American state of New Mexico and has been a sister city of Ashgabat since 1990. Turkmen artists and musicians will give festive concerts here, and representatives of the creative intelligentsia will hold cultural events and events with a national flavor and introduce Americans to the values of the Turkmen people.
An agreement to hold Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the United States in the fall was reached in May of this year during an online videoconference between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the University of New Mexico. As part of the October event, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between these two universities.
