Turkmen film director Sahysalyh Bayramov received a special TURKSOY award

The best cinematographers of the Turkic world were awarded the highest award — the Golden Star

cultural ties. The award ceremony took place within the framework of the XV Tashkent International

The award ceremony took place within the framework of the XV Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road", held this year from September 29 to October 2.

The Turkmen director of the Turkmenfilm film studio, Sahysalyh Bayramov, was among the laureates and received a special TURKSOY award - a statuette and a monetary reward. His new film "Daragt" participated in the competition program of the film festival. Another film "Gyzyl Kurte" was shown in Uzbek cities during the Days of Turkmen cinema, which was held as part of the Tashkent Film Forum.

As Orient wrote earlier The Turkmen film director was also a member of the jury of the XV Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road" and evaluated films in the nomination "Art Cinema".

During the five days of the film festival, the audience watched 40 different films: from European to Japanese and Australian. Attended more than 60 master classes and trainings. The closing ceremony was held in the Samarkand "Eternal City" – a unique historical and ethnographic park.
