Turkmensvyaz participates in the International Conference on Cybersecurity in Tashkent


The 1st International Cybersecurity Conference "Cyber Security Central Eurasia 2023" opened today in Tashkent. The first working day of the high-level conference was attended by authorized representatives of dozens of countries, including the delegation of the Agency "Turkmensvyaz" headed by its head.
The two-day conference (October 3-4) focused on issues of international cooperation to ensure regional data protection from cyber threats, the development of modern digital solutions, the exchange of experience in this area and the further effective development of interregional cooperation.

The event is attended by more than 250 delegates representing 130 companies from 24 countries, including regulators from such states as Oman, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Japan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, as well as the International Telecommunication Union, FIRST, OIC-CERT.
The main objective of the CSS 2023 cybersecurity conference is to create a high-level international interactive platform for the regional cyber community in order to exchange experience, demonstrate modern solutions, and most importantly, open up opportunities for new business cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.

The general theme of the conference is the importance of cybersecurity in the digital world: solutions, threats and cooperation with an emphasis on protecting critical infrastructure and business assets. More than 40 speakers present their companies and solutions, including the head of the agency "Turkmensvyaz" Hajymyrat Hudayguliyev, who spoke at the plenary session.
The audience of the conference, consisting of high-ranking decision makers, cybersecurity experts and end users, will study the dynamically developing global configuration of risks and how cybersecurity can help the countries of the region to take full advantage of the socio-economic benefits offered by digitalization.

On the sidelines of the forum, a meeting was held between the head of the agency "Turkmensvyaz" Hajymyrat Hudayguliyev and the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov.
During the talks, the sides discussed the possibilities of developing bilateral cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, protecting information from cyber threats, training specialists in the field of information and communication technologies and information security, and developing the digital economy.
