Book publications about Turkmenistan are presented at the exhibition “Book of Dushanbe 2023”
The 11th International Book Exhibition “The Book of Dushanbe-2023” opened on October 3 in the capital of Tajikistan. A stand with various literature telling about Turkmenistan was organized by the Turkmen diplomatic mission, along with the embassy corps accredited in Tajikistan.
The Turkmen pavilion, decorated in the national style, presented books and publications dedicated to the foreign and domestic policies of Turkmenistan and the achievements of the state over the years of independence. A special place is occupied by the works of Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Fiction, popular science works, and periodicals telling about the rich, multifaceted Turkmen culture, history and art are also presented.
At the exhibition, embassy staff presented a special edition of the magazine dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by leaders and employees of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Library and the National Museum of Tajikistan, representatives of the diplomatic corps in Dushanbe, the public and students, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
