The Turkmen delegation participates in the oil and gas exhibition ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi


The state concerns "Turkmengaz", "Turkmenneft" and the state corporation "Turkmengeologiya" are represented at the stand of Turkmenistan. Meetings of the Turkmen delegation with the management of large companies are also expected within the framework of ADIPEC.
The delegation of the Turkmen energy sector is taking part in the International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference ADIPEC 2023, which opened in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on Monday, October 2.
The state concerns "Turkmengaz", "Turkmenneft" and the state corporation "Turkmengeologiya" are represented at the stand of Turkmenistan. Meetings of members of the Turkmen delegation with large companies are also expected within the framework of ADIPEC.
A large-scale review brought together players and experts of the global energy market. This year, more than 2,200 exhibiting companies from 28 countries are participating in it. The theme of the event: "Decarbonization. Faster. Together." The agenda includes energy-related technologies, innovations, cooperation and digitalization, leading the industry to net zero.
Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the UAE, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Chairman of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Jaber made an appeal at the opening of the forum to the oil and gas industry, which, according to him, can provide a solution to the problem climate change.
"This is the year to show the world that you play a central role in solving the problem. This industry can change global debates and change global outcomes," Al Jaber said. "The time has come to apply scale, capital and technology to achieve real and tangible results."
The president of COP28 said that reducing emissions is the "polar star" in the fight against climate change. The industry's challenge is to do this while simultaneously "ensuring human prosperity" by meeting the energy needs of the world's growing population, according to the WAM news agency.
More than 1,600 speakers, including more than 40 ministers and 120 senior executives from across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe and America, will address more than 15,000 delegates at 350 sessions of the conference.
They will share strategies and innovative ideas aimed at accelerating collective and responsible actions to ensure promising energy.
The ADIPEC exhibition, held under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and organized by ADNOC, will last at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center until Thursday, October 5.
