A documentary film by French researcher Cedric Gras will be shown in Ashgabat
The French Institute in Ashgabat invites you to a show of the documentary film “The Forgotten Fedchenko Glacier” on October 5, which will be released in 2022. The author of the picture is Cedric Gras, a French writer, winner of the Albert Londres Prize and member of the Society of French Explorers, who came to the Turkmen capital to meet his fans.
After watching, viewers will have an interesting meeting with the traveler and creator of the film, Cedric Gras. He will talk about incredible expeditions in which he himself participated and discuss with those gathered the topic of mountaineering as a way to draw attention to the problems of climate change.
Céderic Gras has published a dozen works: novels, short stories and travel notes, and is the author of several documentaries about his expeditions, which can be seen on the ARTE TV channel.
The duration of the film “The Forgotten Glacier of Fedchenko” is 52 minutes. Viewers will be presented with a French version with English subtitles.
The show, organized by the French Institute in Turkmenistan together with UNDP, will be held at the Carbon Training Center of the Bouygues Turkmen company on October 5 at 17:00.
