The President of Turkmenistan expressed condolences to the administration of Pakistan in connection with the terrorist attack


President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a telegram of condolences to the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and Acting Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in connection with the explosions in mosques in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which caused the deaths of people.
"Resolutely opposing any acts of terrorism and extremism, Turkmenistan fully supports the efforts of the world community in countering this evil and eradicating it," the message states.
On behalf of the people and the government of the country, as well as on his own behalf, the Head of Turkmenistan conveyed words of deep empathy and support to the families, relatives and friends of the victims at this difficult moment and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured, TDH reports.
Several dozen people were killed in explosions in Pakistan. The local authorities reported this on Friday, September 29.
The first explosion occurred near a mosque in Mastung district of Balochistan province and killed at least 52 people. Another 58 were injured. The gathering of people was caused by celebrations on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
The police explained the tragedy by suicide bombing. The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the activities of "terrorist elements". Balochistan authorities have declared three days of mourning.
A few hours later, another explosion occurred in a Muslim prayer house in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. At least five people were killed in this incident, local authorities said, without specifying the cause of the incident. At the same time, local media write that the roof of the mosque collapsed, 30 to 40 people were trapped under the rubble.
