The State Concern "Turkmenhimiya" is interested in developing partnerships with Germany in the field of mutual supplies of chemical products and raw materials, as well as in the training and retraining of qualified personnel, and the implementation of joint investment projects for the construction of new chemical production facilities in Turkmenistan. This was stated by Chairman of the Turkmenhimiya Group of Companies Dovrangeldy Sapbaev, speaking at the Turkmen-German business forum in Berlin on Friday.

The head of the concern spoke in favor of expanding cooperation with reputable financial and technical companies and organizations of Germany, inviting potential German partners to take an active part in investing and implementing new projects in the chemical industry of Turkmenistan.

Sapbaev said that only in the last four years such large chemical facilities as an ammonia and urea production plant in Garabogaz, a polymer production plant in Kiyanly, and a gasoline production plant from natural gas in Ahal have been put into operation in Turkmenistan.

These enterprises use the most modern world technologies and equipment in the field of clean energy, and production processes are fully automated. At the same time, the concern's factories widely use technological solutions and equipment from well- known German companies.

Thus, the Tejenkarbamid plant uses ammonia production technology from Thyssenkrupp Uhde GmbH and an automated Siemens control system. The plant, which produces gasoline from natural gas, operates a methanol cracker from Caloric Anlagenbau and an injector from Koerting Hannover AG. The technological processes of Turkmenhimiya plants use mechanisms from MAN Diesel&Turbo, Zeppelin and a number of other German machine builders.

Sapbaev added that at the moment, in order to bring the Garlyk potash mining complex to its design capacity, the concern is collaborating with a group of German companies - Ercosplan, K-UTEC AG Salt Technologies and Schachtbau Nordhausen.
