“Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency invited German companies to participate in IT projects
The “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency offered German companies several new directions for establishing cooperation and investment. These include: the creation of a Data Center, the construction of joint ventures for the production of fiber-optic cable and server equipment, projects for the development of IT services and smart city management systems, modernization and implementation of the latest wireless communication technologies in Ashgabat City Telephone Network CJSC ", training and professional development of industry specialists.
Among the promising areas for the participation of German business is the laying of a fiber-optic communication system across the Caspian Sea, in the direction of Europe.
The proposals were announced during the Turkmen-German business forum held in Berlin on September 29. It was noted that Turkmenistan currently has 8 interstate fiber- optic information transmission routes. Over the past three years alone, the total capacity of purchased international Internet channels has increased tenfold.
And therefore, today it is urgent to increase the transit capacity of traffic and expand the backbone transport and communication network.
Chairman of the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency Khadzhimurad Khudayguliyev invited German companies to take part in the international exhibition and conference “Turkmentel-2023”, which will be held on November 9-10, 2023 in Ashgabat. At the Berlin business forum, he also held meetings and negotiations with representatives of German telecommunications companies.
