National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited German companies to participate in the creation of an industrial cluster in the city of Arkadag. The Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty announced the business proposal during his speech in Berlin at a meeting of heads of delegations of Central Asian countries and the Eastern Economic Committee of Germany, the state news agency reports.
“On June 29 of this year, the opening of the new city of Arkadag took place in Turkmenistan. Today we have begun the construction of the second stage of this city. An industrial cluster should become one of its important components,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted.
The Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty said that taking into account the “green” content of this city, in its industrial zone it is planned to build a number of enterprises focused on the production of certain types of products from the medical industry, pharmacology and baby food.
“In this context, we invite interested German companies to participate in the creation of this cluster,” the National Leader of the Turkmen people said.
In his speech, he expressed gratitude to the German side for many years of cooperation in the field of healthcare and the medical industry, and emphasized that the Turkmen side is ready to further strengthen cooperation with German companies in the field of medicine.
“Over 25 years, dozens of medical institutions have been built in Turkmenistan, equipped with modern medical equipment and advanced technologies in the field of healthcare, and thousands of highly qualified specialists have been trained. And in this matter, we use the rich experience of our German partners,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted.
