Turkmen schoolchildren are invited to participate in the FLEX program for the 2024/25 academic year
The testing schedule for high school students under the FLEX program for the 2024/25 academic year has been announced by the American Councils for International Education. The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to live in American families and study in US schools during the next academic year.
The program includes all expenses related to the travel and accommodation of schoolchildren. The educational project is funded by the Government of the United States of America.
The following requirements apply to those who wish to participate in the exam:
• Students born between March 15, 2006 and May 31, 2008 can apply;
• Attention! 11th grade students who must complete military service will not be able to take part in the competition;
• Good knowledge of English;
• At the time of the competition to study in high school and have a good academic record;
• Meet the requirements for issuing an American visa;
• Be a citizen of Turkmenistan.
The organizers presented the schedule of exams that will be held in the regions of the country and in Ashgabat:
To participate in the competition, you must have an original birth certificate or passport, one of the latest photos (3× 4 cm), a black pen and come in school uniform.
The competition is also open to high school students with disabilities. During the existence of the FLEX program, more than 300 high school students with disabilities around the world, including 6 schoolchildren from Turkmenistan, have become its graduates.
The organizers ask you to pay attention to the fact that students of regional schools can pass the first round of testing under the "FLEX" program in the city of Ashgabat if they missed the exam in their region. You can participate in the first round of the competition only once a year.
