The head of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan left for a visit to Berlin
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for Berlin on Thursday on a two-day working visit. Before the trip, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty held a working meeting on this matter with the country's leadership.
At the Ashgabat airport, the National Leader spoke with Ambassador of Germany Michael Uwe Bierhoff, exchanging views on the state and prospects of Turkmen- German interaction.
The head of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan will hold a number of official and business meetings in the capital of Germany, and will take part in events in the format of the heads of state of Central Asia and Germany.
A bilateral meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people with Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz is also expected.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is accompanied on his trip by a government delegation.
A Turkmen-German business forum is planned to be held as part of the visit.
