Turkmen University entered the Times Higher Education-2024 world ranking

The International University of Humanities and Development entered the final rating of The Impact Rankings 2024, compiled by the prestigious educational organization Times Higher Education (THE).
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, being one of the most authoritative international rating agencies, consists of global performance tables in which higher education institutions are evaluated in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As representatives of the university told ORIENT, the International University of Humanities and Development received the status of a "reporter" and was included in the final table of the Times Higher Education 2024 global university ranking.
The results of this rating are calculated using performance criteria in order to ensure a comprehensive and balanced comparison underlying the four main areas of work of universities: teaching, research, management and outreach. This rating has been held annually since 2018 and has already gained sufficient fame. It reflects the impact of universities on society based on the success of educational institutions in achieving the UN SDGs. The Impact Rankings are dynamic in their structure: their number increases every year as more and more universities seek to demonstrate their commitment to achieving the SDGs.
Inclusion in the database of university rankings, published annually by the Times Higher Education (THE) magazine, allows higher education institutions to demonstrate rapid qualitative improvement in their activities by introducing new management methods and providing clearer and more open data on their progress.
Oxford University tops the world ranking of universities in 2024 – and the rest of the top 10 is filled with Anglo-American educational institutions. However, the analysis shows that the overall situation of other higher education systems is improving compared to universities in the UK and the USA.
