President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Monument of Independence of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the country's independence, the official Turkmen media reported.

The celebrations traditionally began in the National Park of Independence, where members of the government and the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and branch departments, public organizations, etc. gathered.

Foreign guests who visited Ashgabat to participate in the celebration of the 32nd anniversary of independence also paid tribute to the national shrines of the Turkmen people.
