And the music sounds – a holiday that the whole world celebrates
International Music Day is a holiday that is known in all corners of the earth and celebrated on the first day of October. The date, established in 1975 by the decision of UNESCO, has been firmly registered in the calendar sheets and has become one of the most beloved and revered.
A traditional concert dedicated to this day will also be held at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory. On October 2, a concert "And music sounds ..." will take place in the great hall of the higher musical educational institution. The concert program, as always, will be bright and rich. Teachers and students of the Conservatory will perform on the same stage: Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov, Honored Artist Aygul Yagshieva, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atajan Berdiev, as well as Elena Arakelyan, Ekaterina Darchia, Tylla Saryeva, laureates of the Altyn Asyr Award Begench Gayipov, Lachin Hudayberdieva, Dovran Shamyev, Dunyagozel Begalieva, Durjemal Chanlyeva, Mahri Orazova, Kakajan Hudayberdiyev, Natella Bagirova and others.
The audience will also see the performance of ensembles of stringed instruments, as well as "Camerata Ashgabat" and the group "Ragtime".
The artists will perform works by Turkmen, Russian and foreign composers.
The evening starts at 18:30, admission is free.
