An international media forum was held in Ashgabat
The international media forum “Independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan in the international news space”, dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan, began work on Monday at the Archabil hotel in the capital.
Participants in the media forum included representatives of specialized structures, television and radio channels, the State Information Agency, editors of newspapers and magazines and local media, as well as foreign journalists and correspondents and heads of news agencies. In total, about 100 foreign media, including the Director General of the Big Asia TV channel, heads and representatives of media and television and radio companies of the Russian Federation, Great Britain, Malaysia, Japan, the Republic of Turkey and Belarus, the IIC of Turkmenistan reports.
The main goal of the forum is to further strengthen the international cooperation of Turkmenistan with foreign media. The media forum was organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan.
